Analisis Mekanisme Failover Controller Pada Software Defined Network

Software Defined Network (SDN) merupakan konsep teknologi jaringan untuk mendesain, mengelola, dan mengimplementasikan suatu dengan melakukan pemisahan antara control plane forwarding yang kemudian dikendalikan melalui satu media aplikasi controller melewati protocol. Controller SDN bertugas mengatur aliran data plane. Pada memungkinkan adanya kegagalan komunikasi antar bisa saja terjadi. Kegagalan terjadi, misalnya salah dalam mengalami down ataupun tidak aktif sehingga host dapat terhubung baik. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut perlu sistem menanganinya seperti High Availability Controller. dilakukan mekanisme failover menggunakan Heartbeat DRBD (Distributed Replication Block Device). Tujuan dari penerapan ketika terjadi pada utama maka peran akan di pindahkan ke backup supaya tetap tersedia meskipun sinkronisasi partisi disk telah dibuat secara realtime, membentuk replication disk. diakses bergantian oleh server Heartbeat. Pengujian penelitian ini yaitu mengukur rata waktu Ketika mengambil alih utama. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian RYU, POX , OpenDayLight menunjukan bahwa RYU memiliki lebih singkat 1.3 sec dibandingkan lama 23.3 ODL meimiliki 1.5 sec. Perbedaan bergantug jenis digunankan, dimana semakin banyak fitur dijalankan sebuah hasilkan. Hal karena dibutuhkan tambahan menjalankan digunakan.
